Founded by Yenn Wong, Alan Lo and Paulo Pong, three of Hong Kong’s most influential young minds who share a deep passion for developing the city’s creative landscape, Duddell’s provides a colourful backdrop where creative people come together to meet, eat, drink, entertain and relax in an environment that connects art and people in a fresh, new way. The stylishly relaxed two floored interiors by the celebrated, London-based Ilse Crawford are designed to feel like an art collector’s home within which the team at Duddell’s will host curated art exhibits, feature Cantonese cuisine by renowned Chef Siu Sin Chi and offer the exceptional facilities of a Restaurant, Salon and 2,200 sq. ft. Garden Terrace in the heart of Central. Open to all art enthusiasts, Duddell’s features a world-class arts programme spearheaded by cultural leaders Yana Peel, William Zhao, Chrissy Sharp and Alan Lo. The art programme is guest curated by respected forces such as Amelie von Wedel, Pernilla Holmes and Inti Guerrero, bringing the best of international modern and contemporary art to Hong Kong, many on special loan from the rarely seen archives of private collectors. In particular, one floor is dedicated to Chinese contemporary and 20th century ink brush paintings drawn from the MK Lau Collection and curated by Catherine Maudsley.
